Why? Perhaps Billy prefers to look at what a fighter can do, using his own methods, to find out if they are a fit for each other, before looking at him on dvd?
And do you think that if Chelsea offer the job to the Porto manager, he will need to see dvd BEFORE he accepts the job? He'll sign, and THEN address what needs to be done. You dont find out about a players character/attitude on dvd!

If he has moved back to Scotland, then he's really, really stupid. It will do jack **** for his development.

Goldenboy took the **** out of craig didnt promote him well freddie was hardly working with him in the gym due to having too many fighters if anyhting staying in usa would have harmed his development more....if i was in his situation i would have moved back to!

It might be good for him also, he is a nobody in America but would be a big draw in Scotland.

Now with Craig back, there is potential for a qaulity Scottish show in Glasgow or Edinburgh, featuring Appleby etc. Ill be keeping a close eye on any developments anyway.

    explain why...?

IMO it's the right move for him. It's an old cliché to say that the Wildcard is the best gym in the world but I doubt fighters like McEwan get the same individual attention as Pacquio or Khan. He'll get more individual attention in Scotland and he'll benefit from building a bigger support base.

Willie Casey is having trouble finding an opponent. What do you think Billy?

    Exactly.

Over there he'll just get whatever spare time Roach has.

Too many fighters have bought into this ''Dr Roach'' stuff, without realising that Pacquiao takes precedence over everybody. Khan only works well in combination because they're roughly the same size so can spar together.

Most of these American trainers are just mercenaries, especially to foreign fighters..... Billy is proving himself to be a good trainer, who's to say he can't emulate Roach's achievements in future?
