Marquez is Not Mayweather: No Extra Tests on Pacquiao

    According to Marquez, his side will not request any additional tests on Manny Pacquiao for their 144-pound catch-weight bout on Nov. 12. Marquez is not listening to some of the comments that are made by Floyd Mayweather Jr., who refuses to face Pacquiao without the involvement of Olympic style random drug testing.

    Mayweather and his family members have made comments regarding Pacquiao possibly using performance enhancing drugs. Pacquiao filed a defamation suit in Las Vegas against Floyd, Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Roger Mayweather.

    Marquez said his only concern is to prepare for the fight, get his mind ready, and win the trilogy.

    "What I'm going to do is prepare in the same manner as we've always done. I'll be doing things with my doctor to ensure that I won't slow down in the fight. I'm going to get myself in excellent condition, both physically and mentally, and we are not going to ask for additional tests," Marquez said.

    Thats bevause marquez isnt scared of losing. Jmm is ready for a war like the first 2 fights and besides he has been chasing pac all this time do you think he will risk that by asking for tests which started the whole floyd/pac drama, he is smarter then that.

    they got that right, marquez is not mayweather. He's not as good as mayweather, and he's not as high profile as mayweather.

    JMM may not be as good and as high profile as Mayflower but he definitely has more balls and man enough to fight tough opposition. :D

    Looks like floyd remains alone on this non issue, shocking...Props to marquez for doing what he needs to do, getting ready for the fight, and leaving the little girl drama to the females.:deal

    Nobody should be called a coward for protecting their own investment. Thats like saying you're a coward for wearing a seatbelt while driving, or a condom while having intercourse. Its silly and people use it as a line to shatter a guy they hate the most

    Marquez just wants a payday before he leaves of course he isnt going to ask for test he dont have options like Mayweather does.
