    Absolutely. Perkins was awsome. Totally underrated and criminally forgotten today.

    I would love to know more about some of his losses outside of US.....I read here something about many of them being very controversial.....

    i rate Loi extremely high, excellent fighter with unbelievable resume.. i have an excellent documentary on him.

    There were many good fighters at that time than Perkins . But he was dominating all.

    Perkins was a beautiful fighter..sheer economy in motion and really underrated..criminally so..maybe more forgotten than just underrated.

    Loi, Locche, Perkins, Ortiz,...these would make a fascinating round-robin type of tournament...I would have love to have seen something like that. I know that they fought each other, but I could see rematch after rematch between them, interchangeably. What a collection of consumate, defensive, technical masters they were.
