It's a short part when I talked about how boxing was back in the day. I stated that on the front page of the NY Times, on July 3, 1921, they had Dempsey knocking out Carpentier as a headline across the top of the page. They had 8 colums, 6 or 7 were for the fight and at the bottom of every article, it had continued on page _. Also on that front page it had a small article, saying the President declares an end to the War. THe NY Times actually thought the fight was more important then the ending of the war.
Yeah it's a great doc! But it's sad to see how boxing can ruin lives... A must watch for any boxing fan IMO. My favorite part is that they have all these different knockouts in high quality scattered through out the film.
