all i seem to see on ESB nowadays is endless hype on Segio Martinez. he is in 99% of posters p4p top 3 or 4. ive seen his last 5 fights and i must admit i am not brought into this hype job. he's won just 3 of his last 5 fights, had a terrible draw to an ordinary cintron and a loss to paul williams. full credit for avneging against williams in a round but these things happen in boxing just ask amir khan.

Im not saying hes a great fighter but top 3 p4p and deserving a shot at Mayweather and Pacquiao i dont think so. Martinez seems to wanna beat up smaller guys, paul williams a welter for all his career and now calling out an ex featherweight Pacquiao i mean cmon. why doesnt martinez call out Bute, Ward, Dirrell, kessler all more his size.

Yes i did. scored it to martinez but still feel he should have made easier work of an ordinary jnr middleweight fighter.

Martinez could have fought better against Cintron, but he still CLEARLY won that fight.

I had him beating Williams in the first fight

Tremendous performance against Pavlik, busted him up

    Shocking KO over Williams

Destroyed an underrated fighter in Dzinziruk.

And he would beat Pacquiao, maybe even decision Mayweather. Hes skill level is visible for all to see..

1- I think Martinez won that fight by KO... or should have been awarded the KO.
2- Cintron is not an ordinary jnr middleweight. I don't like him like most people but he's a top 5 fighter in the division.

Most of the Martinez threads I see are made by Pac fans saying how overrated he is.

Dzinzruk - Undefeated Light Middleweight Champion made to look silly and stopped skillfully
Williams 2 - ICED! went for the KO from round 1
Pavlik - Middleweight Champion, Bloodied and Battered
    Williams 1 - Robbed of a win
Cintron - Robbed of a KO then Robbed of a win

Martinez has had a long run of bad luck. you cant blame him for wanting to fight the two best fighters in the world at his old weight, both who have held his title and both he would get paid a lot of money for fighting. Remember your not the one in the ring taking the punches.

He does look small for 168 especially after Abraham has shown he cant fight at the weight.

He deserves to be in the top 5 p4p

he hasnt beaten any atg's, HOF'ers or even top 10 p4p fighters. Williams and Pavlik are his best wins and both were coming off recent losses. dunno im just still not brought on hm. still thinks he needs to prove himself at middleweight.
