Honestly, the Morales Raheem fight, Manny fought on the undercard, and when they all came back from the weigh in to the gym, I remember Fortune saying that Morales looked like a zombie on the scales.... They knew Morales struggled to make that weight. and to think he had to come down after that to fight Manny in the 2nd and 3rd bout...:-(

What is the point in mentioning that Floyd fought Mosley after he had a close fight with Cotto? That fight was YEARS before Floyd finally got around to fighting Shane, and which only occurred because of an earthquake in Haiti.

You fail to consider what was significant and different about the Cotto fight vs Hatton, or DLH. In the two prior fights, Manny looked great, but he was never really touched. The big question for everyone going into the Cotto fight was, "Will Manny be able to handle being hit by a strong welterweight puncher?" After the fight, it was clear that Pac had a good beard and this is when the doubts began to outweigh the $ signs for Floyd. Look at the timeline for when the PED rhetoric really heated up and it's obvious when Floyd was looking for a way out. Floyd retired the first time when the welterweight division was hot and there were no more low risk, big reward fights available. He came back because of money problems and was targeting the biggest name, who he figured was low risk because of his size. Once the risk was deemed too great, you got the failed negotiations and Floyd's apparent mental breakdown. The man is under tremendous pressure. He NEEDS money, but there are no huge easy paydays left.

You still never answered the question, What proof do you have that Cotto changed the mind of Mayweather?:think if you come back with some **** like, Floyd went on Vacation or lost the urge, dont even reply.

Whats changed his mind is a few things, I will leave the testing and negotiations out of it...
Here are a few things that changed his mind...

He is now being sued by Pacquiao for Slander...

He has multiple Criminal court hearings that could land him in prison.

Uncle Roger has some **** going on as well..

Those are some serious real life issues, well the last two are.. The slander case to me is a joke...

If that special drug test is the only stumbling block in the negotiation, then I would still drop it to prove my intention to fight. Even if my opponents house is riddled with PED guzzling fighters, I will. Not only will it erase any suspicions on my resolve, it will also add to my legacy as a fighter... win or lose the fight, it will. But that's just me.

As for your other question, how come now he is willing to take the test but not before? Does that mean Pacquiao didn't want it that bad back then? Honestly I don't know. I can only speculate. And for me, both wanted to have the fight back then. However, at that time, there were other viable fighters out there for both of them to fight and earn money. There's Mosley, Clottey, Margarito to name a few. They may not offer them the same money they would earn if they fight each other, but cumulatively, it would roughly equal it. That's the route Pacquiao took. But no matter who they fight, both will never escape each other's name. Let's face it, Manny giving in to that special drug test now, whether you are to question its timing or not, gives hope that this fight can be resurrected.

Let's forget about who wants the fight more. I bet you that thing gets thrown out of the window once this fight gets sealed. And that's all that matters. Right? That fight to happen.

And to answer your last question. I'm not really into boxing but I've been watching fights for the past 25 years. Does that lessen my right and capability to reason out and argue logically? I hope not.

Ya knw what, I think Pacs handlers are steering him well away from Floyd, pac is a super hero in phillipines, people have reportedly had heart attacks when he fights etc, and as a lone sportsmn representing his country and politician realise that losing to lil floyd would kill his dream of becoming president, (phillipinos dont like losers lol) and wreck bob arums objective.

maragrito just lost to williams that time. cotto just beat mosley while floyd just beat hatton. cotto-floyd was the fight to made and all boxing fans are asking for that fight but ellerbe just rubbed it off by saying cotto was not a draw. meanwhile floyd retired.

floyd was actually starting already taht time by saying the philippines has the best performance enhancing drugs. you don't negotiate sincerely if by the backside, you and your camp are saying your would be opponent is cheating and demand some type of test. thats like rubbing salt to a wound.

second negotiations, its clear that there was and ellerbe just covered floyd's vacationing ass. elelrbe did told us that tehre was and the fight was close to being made. floyd just wasted his time and instead went on to do stupid things outside of the ring.

He got a draw to Marquez and a loss to Morales successively, yet we Filipinos still supported him. He is not the only sportsman that represents the Philippines. Checkout the names Paeng Nepomuceno and Efren "Bata" Reyes among several top notch Filipino athletes. They are athletes that carried our flag and topped their respective sports.

You dont think Floyd bending in terms of split purse, and with the cut off date is enough proof that he really wants that fight?

if he didnt want it that bad back then, what makes you think he really wants it now?

Okay 25 years following the sport, How often does Floyd give up an evenly split purse? you should know this...

Tony did lose to Williams, But take a look at when Floyd retired, it was days before the Cotto Margarito fight. to me at the time he didnt want neither fight, but thats my two cents...
There is a difference when it comes to Manny, because Floyd sat down and negotiated.
That never took place with Cotto or Margarito.

Answer this then, was the pacquaio of those years as big as the Pacquaio since 2008?

Like I said he is the only athlete who represents Philiipines on a big scale so those names are irrelevant in this discussion.
