Still don't know why he's waiting for a Pac or May fight that may never happen! I know there's rumours of Bradley/Pacquiao, but it's just Arum talking at the moment and he's just going to get iced if hr does get in the ring. It might be a pay day, but it aint going to be a mega fight, especially coming off a stinker of a fight with Alexander.

Someone who hasn't cleaned up the 140 division doesn't deserve a Pac or Mayweather shot, he would seem a lot more worthy being an undisputed champion. And surely beating Pacquiao's stablemate would massively increase his chances of getting the Pac fight signed!

I don't think this is about a Pac or May, nearly all of that interview he talked about the Khan fight. Top Rank already have an opponent for Pac for the rest of 2011.

He talked about the risk of losing the Khan fight and then being out of the big fight sweepstakes, but really at the moment the risk is a lot more. If he takes the fight in July, he's risking it all. If he loses, he's out of contract, has no HBO date, no promotor, and is high risk low reward for everybody. Top Rank wont want him, and he obviously doesn't want Shaw.

All that risk for just a slightly better pay day than he was guaranteed by HBO anyway. Even if he's confident of beating Khan, anything can happen in boxing, and don't forget it will be on a Golden Boy show.

I'd say he'll sign with Top Rank, have an easy-ish fight, and then we might get the Khan fight.

Thanks Bradley for another chapter in "fights that didn't happen."

A true ducker in every sense of the word.

I'd argue if he loses he's in the May sweepstakes.

Bradley has ZERO, NO chance against Pac or Floyd so I have zero interest in those mismatches anyway.

    He can't beat Khan either.

Who gives a **** what powderpuff Bradley does.

This is pretty much my take on the situation as well, though Bradley's kind of gotten himself into trouble here with some really poor PR decisions. I also agree with the other point that the promotional risks Bradley faces in taking the Khan fight now, when he's about to be a free agent, are far greater than anything related to the Pacquiao or Mayweather sweepstakes.

Also, I really don't understand the people talking about Bradley not doing enough to "deserve" fights with Pacquiao or Mayweather. It's been pretty clear over the past couple years that merit plays little role in their opponent selections.

Beating Pacquiao wouldn't enhance Tim's legacy? Or are you assuming he's already conceded defeat?

Bradley has ZERO chance, NONE at ever beating the likes of Pac and Floyd no matter what he does.

Who really would be interested in seeing Bradley fight either man?

Even if he beat Khan and Judah and became the man at 140, what does he haveto beat Pac or Floyd?

He'd just be another easy fight for both those guy's, were he get's easily out boxed, beat up or KTFO.

Dude shouldn't be even mentioning Floyd and Pac because they have much bigger fish to fry. :deal

Khan is the bigger name and deserves a slightly higher purse. I think Bradley is making the correct decision at this time. But he should've placed his words more carefully. Its time for Bradley to hire a publicst. He isn't exactly media savy.
