    Is Bute interest in a fight? I'd love to see Bute be tested by a decent opponent and Kessler would be a tough test.

    Kessler vs. Stieglitz is still a solid fight as a resume enhancer. I'd be cool with it should Bute vs. Pavlik then be signed.

    Bute won't happen because it'll be a Bute promoted fight in Montreal and Sauerland are anything but stupid promoters that would be career suicide for Kessler.

    What no one is picking up on is that Kessler would be fighting around this time anyway if he was in the Super Six. So annoying he pulled out and is now fighting a pointless tuneup when he should be facing a elite Super-Middle

    I think that if Sauerland/Kessler sign to fight Stieglitz rather than Bute, it's a sign that Mikkel really has lost half a step, and his team knows it. Kessler could enter the ring against Stieglitz at 75-80% of his old norm and still win. That's not the case with Bute. Mikkel would have to be sharp to beat lucian.
