Kalle Sauerland: For Kessler after Bouadla is either Bute or Steiglitz!

Kessler's people don't want any part of Bute, and Bute's people don't want any part of Kessler. As I said yesterday on ESB, Bute will fight Pavlik and then the winner of the Super 6. Kessler will wait to fight the winner of Bute v the Super 6 winner, namely, Ward.

 

I didn't know Nostradamus was on ESB. :tired

I agree with you. The problem is: how long can Interbox wait for Kessler to sign for a fight? If Bute waits too long, they'll lose the opportunity to fight the loser of Froch-Johnson, or Dirrell, or Abraham, or Pavlik.

Sauerland think Danish fans are stupid. He first wanted to put Kessler against Stieglitz as a tune up fight. Now he says Bute and Stieglitz are equal as boxers. :scaredas:

Kessler isn't the problem here - its Pavlik, Bute and Stieglitz who has to step it up............:bbb

Bute wont need judge. If he want money, Kessler will come to Canada where the money is for a boxing match, not in Denmark noob.

 

If Kelly can't compete at the top level again, I look for him to retire. So, why not Kessler-Pavlik?

 

All promoters rely on the average fan just wanting to buy into the hype. Don't blame the promoters for going with what works. Sad but true my friend.

 

As I said earlier. I believe if Kelly can't compete at top level he won't be doing a RJJ type swan song. He needed a tune up and may need one more solid opponent before being truly ready to challenge. That is a decision he must make with his team.

 

I think Saurland would get a fight with stieglitz.. It would be much safer for Kessler, and it is a great opportunity to get a world title for Mikkel.. It is not that Risky, it would be a good cash fight, and when Kessler have a belt, his future fights will have more value, no matter who he fights.. In fact i say that Saurland would do boxing a favor if he removed the belt from stieglitz, since Kessler is a guy who wants to fight the best.. Then we get the WBO belt into the big scene, instead of it being hidden in germany..

 

Saurland doesn't have enough money to entice Stieglitz into giving up his belt.
Well, at least I doubt he's spend it on that.

 

I was thinking of many months of waiting, not 4 days.

Interbox and Showtime have said they wanted Kessler. Showtime decides who Bute will face. It can only be Kessler.

Showtime has some leverage on Kessler too. If he wants to face the super 6 winner, he has to face Bute first.


Bottom line, I still think that Kessler will face Bute, IF his eyes are OK after his Saturay fight. Sauerland is just managing to get some more money from Interbox. This is the purpose of talking of Stieglitz.

Same thing on the Interbox side. They let Pavlik's name out there to put some pressure on Sauerland.

 

Bute's people want Kessler. Period. You don't know them, you don't talk to them, your opinion is based on nothing.

I don't know about Kessler but I feel he would take the fight right away.
