When did you start taking note of Manny Pacquiao?

    Truth be told for myself it was only really after beating up former SA great (and current trainer) Lehlohonolo Ledwaba. Probably later than most people on here but only after did I start following the Pacman. Granted prob not many know but Ledwaba took the defence against Pac on 6 days notice, not that I think it woulda made much of a difference cos even then Manny was a beast imo...

    So when did u really start taking note of him?

    The 1st Barrera fight. He still looked very raw in that fight, but I was impressed with the intensity that he brought, and what he did to Barrera.

    Ledwaba was actually a good victory.

    Was following him since his local fights, before he even got a chance at a title.
    Truth be told however, I never imagined he would even be pitted against greats like Barrera, Morales, JMM, ODLH or Mosley.
    He used to be just a cocky guy with quick lunges and a massive left.

    Knew of him when he beat Sasakul...became a fan when he beat my boy Skinny Hussein..become one of my favorite fighters by the time he was beating Ledwaba.

    His "Oranage" hair & Magnum P.I. Stash immediately jumped off the screen first time I seen him...
    Started taking true notice tho since the MAB fight.

    I first noticed the cherry picker when he blew a weight drained Oscar away

    Then he beat an over the hill Hatton and I started thinking (wow, beating Floyds leftovers - how clever)

    Then I saw him beat a Cotto who has never and will never look the same after the beating Margarito gave him

    Then I saw him beat a C+ fighter in Clottey

    Then I saw him beat a Margarito who has looked garbage since losing to Mosley

    Then I saw him beat a Mosley who looked garbage after the beating Mayweather took him

    What does he get? Loads of great pay days, loads of top names on his resume and little to no risk of being defeated. Awesome :)
