Just rewatched Froch v Dirrell and......

There were rounds where Dirrell did absolutely nothing. And you can say Froch hit air all you want but it was Dirrell who was bleeding from the mouth and nose by round 3.

The problem here is Dirrell could have easily won the fight; he was the far superior fighter. His attitude let him down.

It was a close fight and everytime i watch it i score it differently. But i think a Froch win is fair based on Dirrells negativity

 

Don't get it. You mention these two fights....should the result have been the other way around...?. As i see it, Calzaghe and DLH fought the same fight, with a deferent result..

 

Name those rounds where Froch outlanded Dirrell.

Seriously dude. Take a look at your own IQ before you start calling people dumb.

 

Sadly knowing how to score a fight has nothing to do with intelligence. Seems mostly ignorance and bias are the culprits


Now tell me, what rounds did Froch outland Dirrell in? You should be able to find some, since Dirrell "did nothing" so often.

 

Not just Europeans do that. It's so much easier to score on workrate yet the actual scoring criteria itself says to score on defense, ring generalship, and effective punches yet dumb****s still score on clearly missed punches and workrate. If you dislike a fighter's tactics it doesn't matter, if they landed the better punches widely compared to their opponent and made their opponent look like they have no skill in most of the fight then you have to give it to that guy whether they were negative or not. So called "boxing fans" just don't get this.

People say Dirrell didn't do enough, Froch did even less than him.

 

When i finish work, and after i hit the gym, have my dinner and read my notes i will watch the fight and get back to you.

 

So one guy going forward throwing punches, and the other guy running without throwing punches, and then you give the round to the guy who don't throws punches because the other guy is hitting air.......and we are still talking about boxing right............:huh

Froch 153/475, 32%.
Dirrell 105/315, 33%.

I haven't watched the fight so I can't comment.

 

I still don't get it. You mentioned DLH/May and Hopkins/Calzaghe. As i remember DLH and Calzaghe was the aggressor so how can you compare these two fights, when the outcome was not the same....??
