People already seem to be making the same mistake they did in the lead up to the Maidana fight. In that they're overlooking Khan's flaws...major flaws! His limited punch resistence and his tendency to over-commit which leave his chin hanging out, is a cause for concern against someone like Judah.

55-45 fight in Khan's favour. But if he [Khan] had a normal chin, I'd give him an 80-20 chance. Yes, that's how much of a burden his chin is. :deal

Well Judah is fighting different now, way more defense focussed, thats why I cant see him winning a decision because he isnt actiive enough to win rounds.
But when we consider he can make guys miss, he is pretty accurate and fats, has one punch ko power at 140, khan looked sloppy and open vs the last guy that made him miss, and khan has a bad chin. then does judah have 0% chance to win the fight? Its very possible that he folds under pressure or gets dominated and ko'd but I think you cant count him out because of the things taken into consideration.
I feel the same way about haye vs wladimir.

I do agree with you that Khan does have considerable heart. I give him credit for that, but that still doesn't resolve the fact that he has a questionable chin at best, and as other posters stated, has a tendency to overcommit to punches which can be disasterous when going up against a sharp, hard accurate counterpuncher like Judah.


On a SIDE NOTE: It's ironic that you completely discredit Judah when he's one of Mayweather's top wins.

 

Yes, I agree that Judah's tendency to fade when things don't go his way, do reduce his chances. Like you say, he lacks in areas where Maidana excels.

But like others have already pointed, he, at the same time, excels where Maidana fails - mainly speed, skill, and counterpunching. These things are enough to give him an excellent chance, especially in the early part of the fight.

 

agreed michiganwarrior, khan will own the dude but it's whatever, at least more of those belts are gonna be in one place now..

 

Questions for MichiganWarrior, do you think that right now Khan is an elite fighter?
