Has Floyd's cowardice opened the door for every ***** in boxing to cry "PEDs!"

As soon as the negotiations began for a Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight, the Mayweather camp desperately conjured up this PEDs smokescreen to hide behind to ensure that Floyd could avoid the fight with impunity in his fans' blinkered eyes.

Since then, we've had Jean Pascal trying to deal with his fear that Bernard Hopkins was going to take his title from him, through resorting to lame 'Take The Test' jibes to an athlete who'd passed every drug test he'd ever taken in a 20-year professional career.

And now, even more pathetically, we have Andre Berto trying to blame his own sluggish and ineffective display against Victor Ortiz by trying to say Ortiz must have been on PEDs.

Is this the future of boxing? Every weak or scared boxer screams "PEDs!" as soon as things aren't going his way? :think

What people like you are failing to realize is that the testing in boxing sucks. Mosley took PEDS for years passed all of the test but was juicing out of his mind. If you don't think there's a problem with PEDs in boxiing then you're not being honest with yourself. Most people here are bashing PBF because they don't like him. If it was EM who came out and said guys were juicing people here would think a lot different about the drug problem but because it's PBF they burry their heads in the sand on the issue. Whether you want to admit it or not we're in the steroid era in sports but you people want to think no one is juicing with outdated testing standards and test that are easily beaten??? Really? As the old saying goes "If you're not cheating then you're not trying and it's only cheating if you get caught".

What you are failing to recognize is that Floyd's deep concern for the sport only came up when he was faced with fighting Manny Pacquiao; but just in case that wasn't a valid enough excuse he went on vacation and lost his urge as well. And his deep concern has not been registered about any fighter other than Manny Pacquiao, despite Bernard Hopkins's refusal to take OSDT at Jean Pascal's request. Open your eyes man, don't be a ***** fanboy forever.

Floyd has single-handedly put boxing in harm's way more than MMA.

all this might be well and true but it doesnt change the fact that after the mayweathers liitle campaign it has become fashionable to blame peds anytime you want to avoid your lumps. if he petitioned the right organization to upgrade testing instead of throwing it out there like gossip, these others would not feel justified in acting like schoolgirls themselves.

The stupidity of boxing fans lets fighters take all the PEDs they want and cause brain damage.

As it should. You have a guy who has gone up in weight still cut workrate goes up, retains stamina, retains his speed and power and isn't outboxing guys but rather going to war with bigger men and hurting them. Traditionally that hasn't been the recipe for guys who move up in weight they uses skills to outbox bigger guys not outfight them and beat them up.:deal It raises red flags and when asked to test he gives nothing but excuses that raises more red flags.

Yeah, coz boxing fans are the ones who decide on the testing regulations for the sport, and I must have been asleep during the Great Brain Damage Epidemic of the 2000s.

    ****ing idiot. :patsch
