Ramirez after the Casa and Diaz losses is an easy fight this is pathetic.since their fight in 2007 Earl has had 3 fights 1 min 12 seconds Khan,1 min 9 seconds Castle both KO losses.a 6 round UD over a fighter with 125 losses.slap in the face to Aussie fans if this is the best he can manage after Vasquez turned him down.:-(
This is a lose lose situation for Kats. If he wins by KO in the first few rounds then he gets grief for taking such a bad fight but even worse if he doesnt get Earl out of there quick smart then he wont have too many offers for big fights afterward.
First time i've heard Aussies whinging about the prospect of beating up a Pom Not an ideal fight but what the ****, Kats don't forget is coming off two losses and Earl coming off a win...... go figure Anyway i don't believe Kats will make this a habit, he just wants a nice easy comeback fight in his own backyard before heading back to the states next year for bigger fish. Can't condemn a man about one easy fight guys. Earl's health on the other hand is a different topic altogether
A bit ****en harsh Stiffy comparing him to Mandy & Green. If any Oz fighter has earn't a right to an easier than normal fight its Kats. I'm deducting 2 points off you for low blows. Kats needs to get back in the winner circles and its not like Earl was Kats 1st choice of opponent. I can't see why all the negativety on one of our bravest warriors.
It's not the best match up but **** it was only a couple of weeks ago people were saying Kat needs to take a couple of easy fights to get his confidence back. He can't keep taking beatings every fight taking on the elite and i think he's earned the right to have 1 or 2 eaiser fights.

you cant please some people... first they say he needs an easy fight after getting belted twice, and now he has an easy fight it is too easy give him a break... Mundine has been fighting stiffs of this quality for 10 odd years
It's a shame, but you can't be too hard on them for chasing some cash here... Shame they couldn't get someone a bit more relevant, but the idea of 2 guys from a FOTY fight going at it again would spark more interest in the general public than a complete no-name whos in better condition.
