when did Pac ever box with a heavyweight and take his shots full force.

and if you woud allow yourself to be strong armed into taking whatever test your opponent feels you should take... then what does that say about your strength of character?

    its an example mate

he took full force shots of bigger men and did'nt blink an eye
but took full force shots of smaller men and was effected ?

you can blame weight problems maybe / maybe not ?

but how come the smaller guys who were the same size as pac
were able to take his shots / fire back and go the distance
but the MUCH BIGGER guys are getting over powered and folded up
    like and acordian
or running for there lives due to the fear of his punches ????

    It's Just Strange mate ?

mosley took massive shots from mayorga who was 175/180lb in the ring
brushed them off and ko'd him
    BUT
he fights manny gets floored in the 3rd / begs nazim to stop the fight
as mannys power is too much ????:huh

margarito took shots on the chin all night against cotto and cintron
and laughed in their face ?
but little manny has him stumbling around the ring :huh

SOMETHING DOESN'T ADD UP MATE ?????

You mean those 2000 push ups a day
all those yantok sticks hitting his body during training weeks.
All those miles he covered to strengthen his lower body to be able to deliver more power and absorbed more shots.

Took it like it was nothing you said, 6th round of the Margarito fight he looked in trouble when he took that body shot. And remained screwed days after the fight.

By the way you've spoken, in the world of boxing there's no room for improvement.

About Shane, 39 years old mate. When did he nuke it out with Mayorga? You can't make that comparison. That's really flawed.

Yes but overtraining can be negated to a great degree with the right anabolics...

Protein shakes add a lot of calories. I don't know Pac's diet plan, but when I'm actually training and not being a slacker, I receive 700 calories from my protein shakes per day. This is just from the powder, and not counting if I use (skim) milk or any additives (i.e. peanut butter).

TonyD, really... referring to Mosley as a "heavyweight" derailed everything you had to say. At the basic professional level, 5 pounds makes a difference. Amongst elite boxers, it's a huge difference. An elite heavyweight hitting a welterweight? Pacquiao wouldn't have swatted off such hits as you maintained was the case with his recent opposition.

They probably added 20% to everything to make him sound more tough. 12 miles a day is going to destroy your knees, especially when you're past 30 years of age.

Also, 2000 situps per day is pretty crazy. Not saying it can't be done, but those last 1000 situps will gain you very little for all the extra time you invest in it.

The video was pretty cool, but it sounds almost like he's trying to sound as dull as he possibly can. Throw some emotion in it!

It only mean that you are not a world class athlete. Get over it. Very few are world class athletes.

how long do you think that it takes him to run 10 miles and do 2000 sit ups?

and then he does his boxing work and weight training on top of this? how does he not overtrain doing all this work?

Michael Phelps is also weigh around 170 to 180 pounds pac weigh 174 7000 is allot of calories.. Unless he is liquefying all of his meals, it going to be pretty hard to digest that those kind of calories.

ten miles a day is not alot mate if your a good runner

at his level he prob runs 6-min miles it will only take him 60 mins
    to run

i run two hours every day five to six days a week
and i also box three nights a week

and im a c+ athlete compared to manny's level

every well conditioned athlete should be able to run for an hour a day
then go to the gym and train .....easy
