Prescott and Khan haters have been calling Khan scared of the fight and Prescott is claiming that Khan should be kicking down the door to get the fight. I personally HIGHLY disagree. Khan should have faught Prescott instead of McCloskey. Every championship fighter can accept an easy enough fight against a major underdog. Khan chose McCloskey to do this. After that fight, for him to go and pick Prescott to fight, another guy who we rule out at the first hurdle, would show Khan to be avoiding a legacy in favor of easy winning. I think Khan has done exactly what he should. He went for the unification fights with Bradley and Judah, two very very credible opponants, and when they fell through he looked at Maidana, Marquez etc. who are also all good enough opponants. Now Judah went back and accepted and this is a fight that we could quote from Khan, if he wins, and say "Yeah, that was a big win". Prescott brings none of that to the table. Does anyone think Khan should have aimed to avenge his only loss?

He didn't fight him instead of McCloskey because HBO wouldn't have accepted Prescott as an opponent. **** all to do with Khan being scared or any nonsense like that. Fact of the matter is that Khan is out of Prescott's league now. The only way the fight will happen is after a Khan defeat.
Unless Khan loses he's not going to fight Prescott anytime soon..... unless of course Prescott starts knocking over world rated contenders and forces the issue. The only time for a rematch was immediately afterwards.... Prescott cashed his chips in when he was dominated by Mitchell. I don't get how Khan is scared of a journeyman like Prescott when he's fought four better fighters since then.

Agreed, no reason for Khan to be scared. He faught a MUCH harder hitting Maidana without fear, why would he be scared of a nobody?
The only way a Prescott fight makes any sense is if Khan wants another go at the MEN in a similar vein to the McClosky fight, otherwise Prescott shouldn't get a look in until he has done something of note.

There is no ****** on his back. All that is mentioned is "Khan came back from a loss to Prescott to become a world champion". You say **** the money? Well, I'm waiting for any boxer in the history of the sport to act like that. I'm not really going to blast Khan for doing what everyone else in history has done.
Yeah, but if this were the case he'd be afraid of getting KOed again, not particularly Prescott. He has since went in with people MUCH more capable of KOing him than Prescott, McCloskey included. Prescott caught Khan cold years ago, Khan has since went in with guys who would KO prescott just by sitting next to him. Khan is not afraid of Prescott if he is not afraid of the more capable KO specialists.
Question for Miguel..... If Khan beats Judah next and the Bradley fight still can't be made..... and Prescott wins his next fight, he's offered three options..... 1. A rematch with Maidana. 2. A fight with Ortiz at 147. 3. A rematch with Prescott. Firstly.... what would you choose? Secondly..... if he chooses either 1. or 2. and wins, will you still want him to fight Prescott, who may have lost again in the meantime? Thirdly..... if he did fight Prescott, would you then accuse him of ducking the others? Thanks in advance.
