Anyone think Pac could win the fight? Maybe wear Tommy down with his speed and akwardness, or win on points?
If Pac could avoid being KO'd and pull off a win, it may look like this... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThUhD_g48_Q[/ame] Aaron Pryor was the Manny Pacquiao of the 80s.
Well honest answer, pacquiao weighs about 145 now right, and hearns fought back when they had sameday weigh ins so he would be 147 in his prime, pac is now giving beatings to guys that come in the ring like middleweights and supermiddleweights. So he definitely has the power to maybe shook up hearns who had a bad chin, he also has great stamina and speed. allthough I favour hearns big time here, he has a small chance but if i had to put money on it I would say hearns would be landing hard right hand bombs on pac who gets stopped like duran and cuevas, the height and reach difference would be huge.
:verysad Also Hearns was a total point racking Olympic style boxer. Then Steward decided to teach him all about the magical ways of leverage.
This is a no contest.. hearns has too much power, he is a very skilled fighter, with an insane reach for 147. plus he is a natural 147/154.
I always think hearns is taller then 6.1 by the way he looks closer to 6.2/3 for me. There is a footage of him sparring with ali and he looked about the same or a inch shorter.
You don't see any similarities between Pacquiao and Pryor? Steward has said numerous times Pac reminds him of Pryor.
Manny is susceptible to right hands. Hearns had one of the most vicious rights in all of boxing and he could move. Pac's chances wouldn't be good.
Yeah, i just see him not being able to close the distance and getting blast****ed by that right hand down the pipes. probably the worst matchup for Pacquiao in existence.
also he would probably be brave and try to go toe to toe which is a stupid idea when your small vs hearns.
Mike Tyson lost twice in the amateurs to the same guy and then knocked him out when he went pro. I hope you didn't vote that Pacquiao would win based off of that
