Do you have any specific reasons why he did this
and didnt go through a long process court trial?

‘coz he knows he has no proof Manny using peds, obviously Oscar just dickride on Mayweathers hearsay, Oscar is man enough to accept it, he knows by himself he cannot win that defamation law suit!!!
..they realized that it was a unwinnable case..certainly the settlement talks about hundreds of thousands or even million dollars but pursuing a lost cause would cost them more..
i want to hear what the mayweathers are going to say uhhmmm..

As i just wrote in another thread, we don't know. it's a confidential settlement and there's no way to know if oscar had to pay any money at all or if so, how much. the whole suit was gonna be a mess for both sides (very hard to prove either way: dlh would have little to no proof plus pac's proof wouldn't be all that great either as post fight tests are reportedly not all that exhuastive as far as testing for anything or being that tough to beat). keep in mind that pac would have to show it was a false statement. probably bad for biz and oscar (and probably pac too) were happy to get it over with.

Because it was the smart thing to do ! Legal advice told him you are going to get killed in court, so dump the court cost on the Mayweathers.

It was bad for business. Pac wasn't going to win either, it would have just been years in court with finger pointing and lost potential money with big fights. Pac is raking in the dough and GBP is sitting on the sidelines not earning a piece of that pie. Mayweather is sitting at home not being productive for anyone.

Because it cost nothing? It's more important to ask why did Pac settle?

Because the law suit was baseless.

Is so appears that it was Oscar who was on drugs! There is zero proof that Pac is a drug addict, only if Void's mind! Void is void..............

Pac would of won in court, but it wouldn't of proved nothing, it woudn't of proved pacquiao wasn't taking drugs, it just means that theres no proof he was taking drugs.

Why not settle it if you know in the end that you are getting your ass screwed.
Why do you think suddenly Floyd Sr. backpedals regarding the issue? Scared as ****.

I'm struggling to remember why they backed Floyd's claims in the first place. Doesn't seem to make any business sense, although I guess it gives Oscar an excuse for getting beaten up by a Phillipino midget.
