I'm going to wait and see how Kessler looks against Bouadla (who?). :deal

Pavlik beats him easily right now.

When it comes to ugly tattoos.

Only an idiot believes Pavlik is actually bigger than Kessler, he may be taller by an inch or so, but that does not mean he's actually bigger. Kessler is cut from stone at 168lbs, whereas Pavlik is pudgy as **** at 168lbs, there's a vast difference.

i'd take kelly in this fight
first of all, he just got out of rehab... is it possible he didn't look that great in his last few fights because he was drinking enough to require a frickin intervention??
also, even when he was drinking enough to require an intervention, he was winning a fight through round 8 against the generally regarded 2nd best fighter in the world
kessler gutted out a win against froch but i'm thinking that was his last hurrah

Someone that is ripped compared to Pavlik's "Pudgy" frame which you must be blind to say he is Pudgy doesnt mean **** when it comes to strength! Its whats underneath the skin that counts! Pavlik is one of the strongest fighters at 160-168 Despite His average Build! Looks always decieve when it comes to Pavlik, Thats a Fact!

Grazing Shots, nothing really solid! maybe 1 or 2. Thats Why I thought he lost until I was Told about " Clean Effective Punching " compared to Lopez's Grazing shots!

Pavlik has a Nice Defense! The Way he puts his Right hand to his Left Ear and Left Hand to Right Ear Where the punches just slide off!

Its Depends On Kellys Jab IMO. If the fight were to Happen RIGHT NOW Pavlik has the advantage.. I agree Kessler is more skilled, Kellys Jab Can Freeze Fighters. Has Before, and still can!

At 168, pavlic wins easy. He looked decent his last fight. Great jab & counter left hook. And patience against a bigger guy who really didn't want to fight. The commentators didn't know ****. I thought that they wanted to blow the other guy.

    You see my picture right?

Why would that be desperate or Immature? 13 month lay-off and not drinking, maybe getting Tattoo's is a alternate to drinking?

Just a thought...Seems he is trying to find a new me. He seems like a nice guy, who suddenly was world famous, top of the world for years and then was beat by the old man. Then the demons came to live....

He could have grown some long hair, but thats not the case.........

I don't know that much about Pavlik - but is he a lose canon...?

Kessler's jab is faster and straigther than Pavlik's. He hasn't really utilized it in his last two fights though. Against Ward it was obvious why he couldn't get of with the jab and establish a rythm as it was Wards gameplan to not allow him to get into a groove. In the Foch fight I think that Froch's reach played a huge part in not allowing Kessler to use the jab. Froch is very good at commanding the distance. Great fight by Kessler I would not put money on Kessler in a rematch (not on Froch either though :) ).

Kessler has the natural athleticism and ability to beat a deteriorated Pavlik above his best weight on ticker.

Its hard to see Pavlik beating the Kessler who gave Froch a lot of trouble. Froch is significantly better than Pavlik at this point and Pavlik's fight changing power seems non-existent after all his out of the ring troubles and injuries and at a higher weight. Would be entertaining but i see Kessler getting the better of a lethargic Pavlik in exchanges and despite being quite hittable nowdays he could take Pavlik's shots without too much worry.

I've seen a few posts on here that suggest that Kessler and Pavlik are the same style!!! You've got to be kidding me right?? Have you guys actually seen Kessler fight?

He may not have great lateral movement but Kessler is waaaay more technical than Pavlik. He's a methodical boxer-puncher that is good at applying pressure and times his opponents well after the first 3-4 rounds.

Agreed with everyone else that he hasn't shown the most of his skillset for a while, whether this was because of the eye injury or whether he is in general decine (I'm probably of the opinion that he is) is debatable.

I'd say Kessler wears down Pavlik's booze-damaged body 3/4 of the way into the fight.
