I was wondering, for a high endurance sport like that, what kind of weight training do you do for your legs? How many reps per set?

Wow, this is really overloading your digestive and circulatory system. Can't be good for you long term.

I would think that's actually counter productive to do that many, but whatever works for him. In another place he said he does 4000. Now I'm positive he's on peds. No other man can do hours of just situps.

"Run in the morning, do about 2,000 sit-ups, then go to the gym around 1, then do another 2,000 sit-ups, and then rest," Pacquiao said, adding, "I don't lift weights at all."

half-marathon is around 13 miles or 21 kms, 10 miles is around 16 kms. the guy already has knee problems around the time when he fought cotto. but i think it was from playing basketball.

I wasnt even gonna say nothing on this but now the stuff im reading here is somewhat ridiculous to me anyways...

People are saying this guy is running 10 miles a day for an hour and 2000 situps a day in an hour, and that its no problem, whats the big deal even i can do this and work out blah blah blah.

The world record for the 10 mile run is over 45 minutes, an hour is considered a very good time for a seasoned runner and this is for a competition race where they go all out. And the world record for most situps is 2,200 in an hour, again im assuming it was someone who does this all the time and went all out... yet people saying that Pacquaio is doing his 10 mile run and 2000 situps, all in 2 hours, which is just really a warm up. Then he really gets down to business with his REAL workout which is his 4-5 hours of boxing stuff and sparring which is his real workout.

And he does this day in and day out, i think even top athletes on ped's would overtrain on this, but Pac is just different. From the sound of things he could break the world record in the 10 mile run, or the sit ups in an hour if he actually took it seriously and went all out. And of course he's all natural because he has no idea what are steroids, just keep taking Ariza's "natural" supplements and dont dare question what they are. I guess the guy is just the greatest natural athlete ever... umm unless you take a teaspoon of blood from his body...

I think people are taking the numbers too literally. It is a COMMERCIAL. Pretty sure they round up or down, whatever is convenient. If it takes him 1 hour 17 minutes, they will say 1 hour. Impractical to say "1 hour 17 minutes" for a 30 sec spot.

FYI - saw the commercial during "The Daily Show" in Comedy Central and I think I also saw it in ESPN during Sports Center.
