Who's the slowest world class boxer ever?

    Speed kills.

    But who was the slowest world class boxer of all time and how did they make up for their lack of speed?

    Extend it to elite as well, who's slowest of the ATG's?

    (I'm talking purely hand speed)

    How about Rocky Marciano, he wasnt slow, but from the "elite" he is probably a step behind the competition

    Young Foreman. His punches were wide and telegraphed, yet they were so devastating it didn't matter. You rarely saw Foreman truly KO a guy cold because most of his victims saw the punches coming... they just couldn't do sh*t about it.

    But really Miguel Cotto is an example of a guy who optimizes timing to land punches as opposed to hand speed.

    Froch - just damm awkward to fight heavy handed tons of stamina, good chin who can box

    Nearly all the guys mentioned have great chins.

    Does a great chin slow you down?!
