Mosley is smart enough to see what happened with De la Hoya and Hatton. Pacman destroyed these guys and it had some mental repercussion outside the ring as we have seen. Like Nazeem Richardson said: "Manny is a special type of cat" and I don't think this is debatable. To see Mosley discourage like that, Manny must do something special. Anyway, as far I know, he finished the fight which means he had the mental strengh to pass beyond what was his first idea (quitting) and just for that, respect Shane! On the other hand, we may never know the truth but maybe Manny let him preserve his legacy by not pushing the button that hard that night.

what makes mosley look like a ***** is his touching gloves 10 times per round tactic to make pacman take it easy on him. when did duran, morales, tyson, etc do that? did any of them ride on their bikes for the entire fking fight and not try to win it before they called it quits?

Oscar has a better resume, beat better fighters, held more belts and made more money, and is a household name. Mosley is great, but not better than Oscar. Put them in the ring and you have an even fight, and they're actually 1 and 1, aside from the terrible judging in their second fight.
