Pacquiao took quite a few hard shots from Cotto. In fact, it was that fight that Mayweather Sr. began his accusations. He literally said he couldn't believe how Pacquiao could take those punches from Cotto and keep coming.

Pacquiao also took flush shots from Clottey throughout the fight. Same with Margarito, and Mosley connected several times with his right hand. Pacquiao has proven without a doubt he has a VERY DURABLE chin. To even question otherwise, when even the Mayweathers acknowledge Pac's high punch resistance, is either just sheer stupidity or sheer hatred. Which one is it?

    It's the one's you don't see...

A fighter can learn, and I know it's a cliche, to roll with the punches.

Maybe how well or quickly you can set yourself against a shot is an integral factor? It's not just about the KD either, staying up but suffering chicken dance is a bigger indicator of chin; Hamed got knocked down a few times but was never hurt his whole career. Mayweather suffered severe spaghetti leg v mosley but had the skill and determination to recover.

Not sure you can really defend the opinion that Pacquiao has a glass chin with any integrity, how often is he caught coming in? Is he a defensive genius?

While Rico does it with his own unique style, as he will tell you, I was ESB's original chinchecker. I have to give him credit for taking it to a new level, certainly - but I am hardly a copycat

If you aren't the same person, you may as well be.

Well, I'll give you your props for A-1 chinchecking if you are right, but I don't see the evidence for it right now. Maybe I'm missing something though. After all, most fighters' chins are shaky to one degree or another.

Glass jaws are one of the most misunderstood aspects of boxing. Those who have been closest to the action are the ones who know the most about it.
