Jose Luis Ramirez, Carlos Monzon was pretty slow but had great timing and accuracy, Julio Cesar Chavez, Antonio Margarito hands are very slow, Rocky Marciano, Rocky Graziano, etc

This may look like a photo of Steve Collins, but it's actually a real-time gif of him throwing a punch. If you sit here for hours, you'll notice the slowest non-heavyweight world champion in history move an inch or two. He was ****ing slooooooooooooooooow.

Some of these guys named are not really slow. Chavez's handspeed was alright, calling him slow would be an overstatement. Hagler had above-average hand speed. Same with Hopkins.

Now Foreman, I'd say he was a tad on the slow side.

As also said, The Blade was rather slow too.

Joe Louis was no speed demon either.

I love the ESB concept of a fighter has either a 'great chin' or a 'glass jaw'.

He had good hand speed. Fluid combinations.

His feet were rather slow, but still had pretty educated footwork.

I have to admit to not reading the opening post. I was thinking more of his footwork and movement.

Hagler was never slow. Alfredo Evangelista, you have to call him elite because he did fight Ali for the title but it was the most boring fight in history and Evangelista was slower than frozen mud.
