Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Puncher Pacquiao (Rounds 2-12)

If it wasn't for the 3 KD's in round 1, then it would have been a clear victory for Marquez.

I personally thought the draw was fair, even though I always end up with Pac winning by by 1 point, the rest of the fight was pretty one sided but still exciting.

It's crazy to watch how the Pac of old use to fight, jab, jab, left. that was it.

 

marquez imo clearly lost the first fight even though marquee came back. imo marquez beat pac in the rematch.

 

pac beat marquez twice imo.

both by a point though i can't remember my scorecards.

well he got knocked down plenty........but he DID win more rounds...idk i'm good with a draw

 

I'm fine with a draw in either fight, but I almost always have JMM edging them on a point or two.

JMM doing as well as he did in the second fight against Pacquiao's improvements shows that he had also learned some more and improved as time went on as well. I think that technical fighters like him and Hopkins are always learning, and hopefully that ability to absorb experiences as valuable learning helps him against Pac a third time.

Manny won both fights I had it 120-109 and in the 2nd bout 119-110 Vic Darchinyan

 

I noticed that too... Marquez IMO picked up some tricks from mayweather too and facing young hungry lions. The waist movement in the Kats fight reminded me how mayweather moves his waist very low to avoid shots... I never saw Marquez do that so much.
