Floyd Mayweather & Bernard Hopkins because affirmative action would kick in and get them the job despite being less qualified than their non-minority counterpart.
i would say pacquiao. several legitimate lineal champs (despite the nay-sayers proclaiming certain ones were 'past prime' or 'washed up'). the fact he came up in the weights also adds to it. some of hopkins' biggest wins were against smaller guys coming up, but he still has a better resume than mayweather. sadly floyds resume has been left behind by the other two for fannying around for too long and not fighting enough..... in my humble opinion anyway.
Mayweather Pacquiao right behind Hopkins clearly behind both Mayweather is the best 130 pounder ever, top three at the worst. He is the most accurate recorded puncher of all time. His defensive skill is only clearly bettered by Pep and Whitaker. He has been on the P4P top ten since 1998 [spare for being retired and off list in '08]. He has never lost, and has had less than 10 rounds where he looked really bad. Undefeated; it means a lot. He is clearly the greatest undefeated boxer ever. It is said, "everybody gets beat" or "you fight long enough, you get beat." Mayweather is one of few to defy these statements. Mayweather and Pacquiao need to fight, should Manny win I would leapfrog this placement. Should Floyd win people could quit bitching.
. And the question was who has the best RESUME(who they fought), not how good they looks in the ring.
Definitely Pacquiao, and I'm a big fan of B-Hop as well as Pac. Why? Simply because his resume is stronger, better and deeper than the other two. 2 wins over prime HOF-calibre fighters at excellent weights for those two fighters (Barrera 1 and Marquez 2). (does either of the other two have even one win which fits this description???) 2 dominant stoppage wins over p4p ranked fighters at their best weights (Hatton and Cotto). One of the most underrated wins of the decade (Morales 2) in which Pacquiao became the first man to drop and to stop one of the greatest warriors of the age. And a whole raft of other top wins achieved through many different weight classes and spanning over a decade: Sasakul Ledwaba Hussein Morales III Larios Solis Barrera II (also underrated, considering MAB's performance vs JMM) Diaz De La Hoya Clottey Margarito Mosley Pacquiao by a clear, clear margin. :good
