It is kind of surprising, i thought johnson would come in bang on 168, coming in UNDER the weight he has gone DOWN to, i dunno about that, and Johnsons shoulder bones are showing, i think he's comprimised himself to make weight, against a bum like Green that doesnt matter as much, but he looks WORSE this time against a guy you do not want to be less than 100% for
I tend to think Johnson fought so long at 175 because of the opportunities for him there, never looked a massive light heavy. Been a fan of his for years (after getting over the initial disappointment of him being the 2nd man to spark my hero in a row ) and rememer his 3rd fight with Woods on BBC! He's a perennial contender-type, has some good wins, is teak tough and has fought everyone, he's got lots of old school tricks and always comes to fight, he will probably find 168lbers that bit easier to enforce his grit and strength on as he's been used to fighting bigger guys all these years. He is a true Gent by all accounts, a class act, and IMO, would've been a useful fighter in any era. Sayin' that WAR FROCH!!! :bbb
You really believe that? It's not an exaggeration to say not rehydrating is potentially life threatening.
yeah pics seem to suggest Johnson looks dry and drawn, but looks better in the video. I think he's ok and will be firing on all cylinders. Should be an entertaining bout but I hope Froch prevails.
Let's not forget that although Johnson may bring it early, he was still behind on the cards in the green fight up until the stoppage. Froch is a better boxer than green.
he wasnt behind the judges obviously were tipped off before the fight, u should watch the fight and score it for yourself i can only think of 2 possibly 3 rounds to score for green
Froch's lats are ****ing insane. I was also surprised at Johnson being 166 but I don't think it's a big deal, he doesn't look unhealthy or overcooked and right now he's probably weighing 175 or so.
Then what in tarnation am I on about then? Maybe I was thinking of the PBF fight? Maybe I'm making it up?
