He was saying that after his fight with Morales, Morales was really impressed with him. Morales has started his own promotional company and wanted to sign him up. Said he would get him a world title fight after 2 fights (a fight in Mexico and a fight in LA).

The big problem for Limond was it meant he had to relocate to Mexico, something he couldn't do due to commitments over here (family etc).

 

Shame something good could have came out of a move like that,and a financial gain.

How many folk involved ,was it in the bleachers and was it well attended ?

 

Lots of lads, up the north side was well packed out, the other side not so full.

Willies boys just charged at them other boys flaming riot, spoilt Willies atmosphere.

Pretty sure the initial hassle was started with Rockys lads, but was quickly sorted out by Limonds, rightly so as well, there was a load of kids up there. Some idiots spoiling it for the youngsters. Well done Willie, you looked sharp and combos looked great

 

Shocking but not surprised,and if Tommy Gilmour doesn't sort it out quickly you will see more of this despicable behaviour.

 

What were the undercard results then?

 

They should start doing what happens at football matches, have cameras in the arenas and get the trouble makers. If that happened then you might find a lot more woman and kids would go to these fights.

I thought the security was pretty rubbish, the barny was going on for quite a while before anything got done about it. But then again if you are on minimum wage there would be no way you would have been getting in amongst those boys. :-(
