Maidana vs Gurrero almost a done deal for September according to Steve Kim.

 

it wouldnt suprise me in the least bit if mccloskey dominated.brutalized and stopped maidana, altough it seems more likely Gurrero will be getting the oppertunity

 

McCloskey will not fill out every arena in the UK. Maybe a 5k one.

like i thought the cut injury to McCloskey worked out better for him, he's now in the frame for the big fights.

It would certainly surprise me to see McCloskey dominate Maidana.

Tbf McCloskey very good support to the M.E.N. so should have no problem filling the the Oddessy.

 

I don't think McCloseky will ever beat Maidana, they are two seperate levels, Maidana is world level whereas McCloskey is European level, I think McCloskey is asking for it if he wants Maidana.

 

A lot of boxers tend to suggest or agree to things without realising the full extent of what they are saying and once their management explain to them the realities the idea quickly vanishes.

Like for instance Floyd Mayweather saying he would fight in the UK, which still to this day causes people to bring up suggested Wembley bouts for him as likely. His UK fight idea will of lasted all of 5 minutes the moment he proposed it to his team and they explained the financial implications.

If it did happen.. I think Mccloskey could win a 12 round decision, if he managed to avoid getting KO'd.
