I don't hope that the shane-pac ppv failed. I haven't heard the ppv numbers come out, and we need boxers to generate big ppv numbers to keep boxing relevant. I love pac, but him not being American hurts his ppv sales at times even though he is an extraordinary fighter.

emmanuel-Cotto doing high numbers helps boxing. emmanuel-Mosley doing high numbers hurts boxing.

The average joe and hoe watch boxing to see someone get hurt. A lot of people watching a fight where neither guy could land clean shots hurts the sport.

people paid to see if shane would catch Floyd. After that performance, they were reluctant to pay $54.99 to see an older shane catch pac.

    Excuses, EXCUSES, EXCUSES!!!!

Manny is the GOAT, Manny is more exciting, Manny is humble, Manny is this, Manny is that! Yet with all his accolades he NOT ONCE outsold Floyd with a common opponent with FOUR FREAKING ATTEMPTS!!!!!!

Here is the context for your ass! This fight was on CBS/Showtime and was supposed to open Manny up to Millions more viewers than HBO ever could (over 4 times the amount if memory serves correct) and he STILL couldn't outsell Floyd.......and NEVER will!

Wait till the Marquez numbers come in gonna have you *******s coping even more pleas.......pathetic!

I think emmanuel-Marquez part 3 will do better than Floyd's Marquez bout. It'll be the one time he outdoes Floyd fighting a mutual.

agreed....sad part is it will take part 3 of a trilogy, one which manny has struggled in greatly, to actually outdo floyd....

u know floyd...the guy with the "boring" and "uninspiring" style

I doubt it....seriously even though for that fight Floyd went up against UFC on the same night (and still won....see Dana White moaning)

The fact that these figures havent come out already suggest they could be relatively low I wouldn't be suprised if it is lower than Pac - Margo

Plus the BIG thing Pac has got going for him is that he is explosive and aggressive but he last few fights have been very meh! Due to him being in with unworthy competition.

The casual fan doesnt know JMM well at all I would suggest he is much less known than Mosely also the "infamous" Margarito.

When you think about it alot of hardcore fans are not at this stage in career JMM can make it competitive with Pac let alone win so it will be hard to sell to the casual fan.

And we know Mexico dont follow JMM like they do Morales for instance so I still see this fight falling short.

Wow, Floyd is GOAT. Only a fool wouldn't understand why he's great for boxing.

That's what I was expecting too. antonio has his blindly patriotic Mexican following who are so mexicentric that they'll still run out in hoards for him with flags even after getting busted and disgracing their proud warrior culture.

Who does Shane have? The Black kids watching May-Mos in theaters weren't even rooting for him, they were laughing when Floyd made fun of him.

thats why they went straight for jmm now....theyve knocked him down 4 times....hes older....and hell engage....they need a good performance to save the last few....hes so ripe for pac right now and they are desperate for a good showing

“I’m an emotional guy and if we’d only have done 100,000, or barely above 100,000, I would be suicidal,” White said. “Bottom line, we did a good number and we still got our asses kicked. What they did was phenomenal and I’m happy for them". - Dana White

Floyd IS Great for the sport whether haters want to admit it or not. He hasn't fought in over 12 months yet thats all people are talking and writing about! Lets be real here!

Well I dont know if JMM is the one for that kind of dominant performance.....he has a high ring-iq and if his body can carry him the way he needs it to at that weight he will be tough fight for Manny to look superior against and if Manny DOESN'T look great against him alot of people gonna be asking questions.

You know like, what happened to the "Manilla Ice" Manny?
