I don't know why, but I'm loving this discussion, I just wish they didn't have the pressure of time and keep speaking over eachother.

 

The only boxer I have ever seen retain his title on his arse and not knowing whether he was batting or bowling....put there by a very average fighter. Bute is an average champion milking his belt for all its worth.

Sky is a better place for having McGuigan and Woodhall on regularly. McGuigan was fantastic in that last segment.

Newbon has been shite tonight, you'd never think the bloke's been presenting live sport for the best part of 30 years.

 

Bute hasn't been tested at the highest level where as Kessler has been in with the best at SMW. Kessler would more likely score the stoppage for me, I think his power is underrated. Bute simply needs to step up in opposition, I cannot judge him till he fights someone of the elite at SMW.

 

Kessler cant beat Bute he cant beat boxers that move around the ring hes just to slow unless they stand still.

 

Luckily, one way or the other, we are going to find out whether thats true in a few months

Let's hope Mirandas do-or-die style sees an early finish here, get Froch out so it can be over in time for the TUF finale on ESPN.

 

And look what he did in the rematch, he became the only man to top Andrade. His resume is suspect but the talent is very good. im not sure any supper middleweight can take a sustained body attack from him.

 

Bute just hasn't been in with anyone that can show his level, he's faced shitty opposition for the most part.

Based on preFroch performance I'd feel Kessler would win, in my opinion he's lost his edge and would lose.

For the record, I really rate Kessler, historically, and am not sold completely on Bute.

I'm was a massive fan but of late i've started to get bit bored of Ward it's same pattern in each fight. He can be pleasing to watch when he opens up but he's tactically sound and sticks to a plan. He's got the tools no doubting that and he's tough kid. Unlike Dirrell.

I still think he's class but watching him always feels like glass half empty then half full..
