I've noticed a few older guys at the gym recently and i attribute that to what BHOP did by showing them that its never too late to get into shape. However, now RJJ is using BHOPS latest title win as a reason why he should continue to destroy his legacy; here i sense the jealousy. He also mentioned how he loved the way the russians treated him "like michael jackson", he still enjoys the spotlight and he isn't ready to let go of that. Oh, and according to Roy, God wants him to continue to get his brain splattered, as long as the opportunity presents itself.

I dont like it a lot of guys seem to be thinking that its oki to carry on long because hopkins does it so well, the thing is he is special, Iv e heard several old guys who should retire like jones and mosley use this line before.

Exactly right mate. Unfortunately it's gonna mean a very ugly old age for Roy - assuming he actually gets that far.

He's right that he was more competitive than people thought. But for ****'s sake, he can't keep getting stopped.

RJJ is out of mind. He can't do as same as Hopkins did because he's done!

Roy needs to hang the gloves up. He once stated he would never hang around as long as Sugar Ray Robinson. Well, he indeed has stayed around way to long and will be seriously hurt if he continues.

If a man wants to fight & a commission grants him a license then who is any fan to say any different. Maybe he doesnt care about his legacy. I respect that.

I'm assuming you are referring to the 8 Count News interviews? If so, i heard them and the guy is 100% delusional. And it doesn't help one bit that the guy interviewing him just kept boosting his ego. Always talking about his "prime" days. Well, newsflash, he ain't in his prime.

RJ kept referring to God and his will. Well, if he keeps fighting, he's going to end up like Ali.

BHop can actually box. RJJ can't box. Thats why BHop is still an elite fighter. RJJ has been hit in the head too many times to think he can still fight on.

I said nothing about what he should or shouldn't do. I'm trying to understand why he's doing what he's doing.

No, the HBO card last night.

When in the ring, it's easy to know when Roy's in trouble; he starts squinting his eyes, giving them the go ahead sign and they commence to pounce on him.
Interestingly though, he isn't showing any signs of brain damage when hes on the mic. This might give him the false impression that he's not in imminent danger, since the signs may take time to manifest.

But what Mosley and RJ fail to mention is that Hopkins relied heavily on FUNDAMENTALS, not athleticism like they did. Holyfield used good fundamentals too but his constant wars took something out of him sooner than they did with Hopkins as Hopkins gave mostly watchable clinics, not wars in his prime. Roy is also delusional if he thinks he should fight on, it HAS to be money problems. It doesn't make any other sense for him to go on like this and tarnish his health.

Jones like many athletes before him simply put would like to go out on the victory tip.

**** Bob Papa for putting Roy on the spot in the first place.
(What kinda response did people expect, Being put on blast in-front of the whole world)

Jones should prob retire, But who the **** are we to tell him that?
