I know Ward's going to be favored. I just hope not by too much. I'm going to put down a lot of money on Ward via UD.
**** - it is on! I hadn't even had time to stop and think about that yet, as immediately after the scorecards were read in Froch's favor I switched over to HBO in the nick of time for round 1 between Chavez and Zbik (and have mostly been posting about that fight ever since). **** yeah, Ward vs. Froch!!!! I've got Ward in a rough but tactical semi-war.
Oh, there will be long stretches of feeling out and adjustment by both. Froch gets drawn into brawls - he doesn't seek them out. Ward too will engage his opponent on their terms and fight fire with fire...but if left alone will primarily try to box. I think inevitably there will be moments of high drama as their scrappier natures get the better of them - but both are very intelligent fighters and tend to not lose their cool and start breaking out of their relaxed rhythms unless provoked.
I just hope some bralws break out .Sometimes when you get two highly skilled fighters it could be a stinker ie jones hopkins 1 ,bradley alexander ..
im a big Froch fan and hope he wins, but i think ward is just too quick n slick for him. Froch's best chance is to stun him & knock him out with 1 of those cobra like uppercuts. i seen ward badly hurt in 1 of his previous fights.
Im sure Ward is going to be weary of the Cobra's uppercuts ..I wonder who will have the better jab ..Both men work well of it ..Hey can we give Glen Johnson props for keeping Froch's girl quiet by the way
Want Froch to win, he deserves it more in my opinion I think Ward will, thats not to say Froch doesn't have a chance though.
ward's jab to the body will be so important. when johnson used it tonight it was working but he didn't do it enough. not just jab to the body but more power punches to the body as froch has shown a very durable chin.
