I didnt see the greyhound semis but he normally covers all the sky greyhound meets and is pretty good tbh... but he lacked chemistry with the panel. And unfortunatley Davie Clark was at the arrers !
What were you watching:huh. I thought he was great. He knew what he was talking about, most of the rest of those presenters know squat about boxing. Newbon a great boxing man, look at his history at ITV for that, hes the sort of guy I want to see in that job. Well done to Adam Smith for putting him there.
Nah i thought he was stiff as a board. Might be knowledgeable but his questions were extremely simplistic and his chemistry with the panel was virtually non existent.
Don't know if it was really planned or if there was some last minute emergency, but Newbon looked like he'd just been dug out of the deep freeze. Awful
He's ****ing awful. He might have been good at something 30 years ago but not now! I like Barker though. He's excellent.

Newbon was so upset the show ended he couldn't bare to look at the camera as he spoke. Nelson was cracking up cos he knew he looked a pratt...
I agree newborn was horrendous .... But Steve your like a wee fat kid , locked out of the cake shop , and slabbering on the shop window .
He wasn't bad. I thought he let McGuigan, Nelson, and Barker interact well together. Problem is you keep expecting him to take callers these days.
