Beast of a chin, proper granite.

Agreed.. Looked like Johnson at 168lb had very good power and equally good chin too. Looks like he would have always been better suited to SM instead of LH. Froch did indeed have to take some bombs and some good work to the body too. Glenn also had to take some bombs too in a great fight.

Froch's chin is excellent, but it's still worrying seeing even an iron chinned warrior get hit with some of the shots he was taking. No one is completely immune to getting stopped given enough punishment. Thankfully Ward isn't a puncher so even if he wins the fight, Froch should be able to win the EVT

Great chin, but then again he did wobble against Dirrell...

Johnson isn't a huge puncher and Froch has been wobbled a good few times. Taylor comes to mind, good not granite.

You're joking right. Froch has no conventional defence, his chin is his first line of defence. He has a proper granite chin.

:lol::lol: Hard man to please! It's not like Taylor put him down with one punch, he was pasting Froch at the time.

Froch has a solid chin, but I still think he's vulnerable against quick-handed fighters. He was hurt by Dirrell and Taylor with shots he never saw coming and stunned with similar shots by Pascal. Even Kessler wobbled him with a sharp shot he didn't see. It wouldn't surprise me if Ward was able to hurt him too.

It was really bad how many big right hands landed on his chin, he didnt even wobble most of the time, really impressive but a serious flaw how easily he got hit with those bombs.

Great chin but **** defence. He needs to seriously improve it before he fights Ward!

Would of been interesting to see a fighter with a bit more speed hitting that way, cause I think the potentially might of been there to hurt him significantly.
