So now that Kessler is mando for the WBO he probably won't fight Bute just yet. Do you think that it is good for Kessler to take on a "softer" opponent in Stieglitz before going for Bute, Froch 2 or Ward.

Yep and if he does it, every top 4 supermiddleweight will have a belt.

I personnally am disgusted. With one single win, he becomes mandatory of the WBO. That's called politics and that's what Sauerland likes to do. For him, it's only a way to avoid Bute.

I guess Lucian will have to face Johnson. At least, the Road warrior should accept the challenge.

Will they? Froch or Ward will have two, Kessler or Stieglitz one and Bute one.

I'm not intrigued by Kessler-Stieglitz, I'd much rather see Kessler-Bute, Kessler's been calling for it so he should get it. But knowing Bute, he's locked down for a mandatory against Mendy, so... Kessler shouldn't wait for this farce.

Glen Johnson vs. Lucian Bute would answer a whole lot of questions regarding Bute.

Kessler - Froch II isn't too bad a fight either.

You are only disgusted for one reason...

You saw the opportunity for Bute to fight Kessler early after his injury.

Forget it... Bute should stop taking the easy way. Get out of Canada. Take on Froch in the UK, or Kessler in Denmark.

    Grow some balls, Bute!

Stieglitz will be beaten badly by Kessler, easy WBO belt. Good move on Kesslers part.

Kessler just had a tune up fight, he should be ready for Bute. Thats what tune-up fights are there for

I just dont see the reason in fighting Stieglitz, itl just delay the Bute fight till next year in, in that time Bute could be fighting the winner of super 6 instead..

:think I like the sound of that. Stieglitz is alright, but he is hoarding the title from better fighters, to this point, whether of his own volition or not. Kessler/Bute for an IBF/WBO unification, Froch/Ward for a WBC/WBA unification, then the winners for FULL unification?!!! I am so hard right now (no homo). Too bad that's about as likely to happen as James Kirkland getting stopped by Nobuhiro Ishida in one round. :conf

The way Butes moving along, he's never been relevant. What has he done exactly, in 4 years as a "champion"?
    :lol::rofl

Enough to be recognized one of the three best of the division. Bute fights in a month, so Kessler doesn't have to "wait" for him. Are you afraid, MrMagic? You prefer Kessler to fight Stieglitz now? I thought he was supposed to destroy Bute, so why not make the fight?

To Joe Average, Bute wanted Kessler before his injury.

He 'could' but so far Bute hasn't been anywhere near Super 6 level with any of his opponents... so I wouldn't bet on it.

Bute seems to only go close to these guys if 1) it happens in Canada, and 2) the other guy cmes of an injury or similar.

Bute needs to grow some balls.
