Froch may catch right hands,and he may get buzzed from time to time,but he's never done the silly dance down ***** street.The Taylor knockdown was a combination of shots and bad balance,and he wasn't in any trouble.Besides that Froch got up and punched him senseless to win the fight.

Decent chin, albeit Johnson isnt known for one punch concussive power. With a defence like that these things can come back to haunt you. Good luck to him, i still dont understand how succesful he is with the skills he has.

 

I agree with this. But it would take quickness of hand with heavy power on top of that to cause Froch real trouble. So while i could imagine Ward rattling him i see it as virtually impossile for him to stop him.

Yeah, and that's the norm for fights above welterweight. Though in Vegas, fighters are required to wear 10 ounce gloves above lightweight, unless if both sides agree on 8 ounces.

 

well when people mention how froch has limited skills I always think "silver medalist at the world amateur championships" , you dont get accolades like that without skills.

He has a good chin, but I wouldnt get carried away either. Glen isnt really a one punch ko guy and at 168 hes not the same puncher that kod Jones. Froch is a good fighter, but hes very flawed. I think his arrogance and ego will not serve him well against Ward. Ward is gonna tear him apart on the inside imo and Froch will be cocky enough to try and beat him at his own game. I dont think it will be an easy fight but Wards jab and inside game will be the story of the fight and ultimately Ward will win a Ud.

Ward does not have power, but Ward will use his head and his personal referee will allow him to do such. Ward's judges have already filled out their cards. Ward will have the fight in his home town again, or near...........wonder how Ward got such an advantage? Ward's opponents have to travel thousands of miles in hostile territory, not fair................Froch will need to knock Ward out to get an draw!

 

Great chin but Johnson isnt a big puncher and has landed more shots on lesser chins without hurting them. The Kessler, Dirrell and Pascal fights are way more of a show of how great his chin is.

 

Nor does Taylor. Ouma and Spinks took everything he had but had already been stopped or down while fighting at 147 and 154.

Bronze and to be honest it was a rather weak division at those Worlds. Had guys like Gaydarbekov, Gutierrez, Golovkin, Dirrell, Korobov, Bute been there he wouldn't have come anywhere near a medal.
