On the scene, commenting on Bute supporting Johnson and speculating that Bute was afraid of Froch and hoped Johnson would win so Bute can fight the easier fighter in Johnson.
We all know that Froch, Andrade already smashed him to bits once, you would absolutely stretch him. :happy
I have no doubt Froch will own him ..Too bad Bute may lose to Kessler before Froch can get a hold of him first ..
In all honesty, I don't think Bute matches well with Ward, Froch or Kessler. He's inferior to all three.
I REAAALLLLLLYYYY doubt Kessler will beat Bute. I give him a 25% chance on that.... Froch...... 40% Im afraid Bute will be the first one to stop him too....
The difference is the chin, bute cant take what froch brings while froch can. I think he would win as well.
:good Really! Bute is a complete unknown at the presently accepted "A" level of competition. In my opinion, Bute has a 1/10 chance at beating either Froch, Ward, Dirrell, or even Johnson. :yep I think at this point, a Bute-Pascal match up would be much more competitive, seeing they are both at appropriately the same skill level with Pascal having faced the better competition. Pascal by TKO 5th round.
Agree with Froch. I also find it farcical that Bute is ranked as the best supermiddle in the world after fighting the world beater in Brian Magee
Bute is a bit of an unknown quantity at this point, as his best opponents were Bika and Andrade, but one thing that is clear is that he can be outboxed, and gets flustered when his opponent does so (see the early parts of the Miranda fight; various points in the Magee fight). Froch's a good enough boxer to give him fits. Ward would school him badly.
Dumb thread. Bute predicted a Froch victory. He supported Johnson because they sparred together and like eachothers. I can assure you that Bute would love to fight Froch and shut his mouth up. Johnson, who is a pressure fighter, has showed Froch's technical mistakes during the fight. What do you think will happen when Froch faces a really good technical fighter? He will look very bad.
