I, for one, am extremely pleased to see Mayweather handle his bizness, and not allow the exploiters to cash in on his talent in the usual, one-sided manner.
Glad to see him making these financial demands. At least he won't end up as yet another broke black boxer at the end of his career.

who cares what Mayweather wants :p I couldn't care less about someone that greedy and personally hope he stay retired. From a fan perspective it's about being the best not about getting $40-$50 or $60 million, all of it is like way too much money for any fight.

The Mayweathers didn't confirm it. Floyd came out in and interview and they asked him about it and he said straight up it's a lie and he never asked for that much

thats funny....arum himself said hes forced to make fights in house(or have control over the whole promotion) because its the only way he can profit due to pacs increasing purse demands.....yet you clowns still believe he only fights for pride and honor and just fights whoever arum puts in front of him....the guy doesnt mind asking for more money....and he has no qualms whatsoever about their selection of opponents

Where did I say that, for the matter I wont give **** for pac's multibillion demands either, let him retire aswell. God damn primadonas wtf. is wrong with these guys. Obviously I am aware barely noone fights for the pride alone, but common 20 mill-30 mill-40 mill, who gives a ****, its too much money for any atlethe's 36 min performance, if it it matters that much to them if they get ie. 30 mill or 32 mill, imo. they are sick and greedy. Don't support them!

Man these Pacquiao fans are coming to an all time low these days! What is the big deal now? If this is true and the so called singapore people decided to run away from the fight over 10 mil then it goes to show how serious they were about making the fight. Whats 10 mil when they can make 200 million dollar profit!

it seems that every single thread has to be explained to you *****s.
if the allegations are true, he wanted 10 million just to sit down and talk about a fight. he wasnt guarranteeing a fight. how could he? he wouldnt know how much total he or manny would get.

When Schaeffer claimed that Arum was lying about the 2nd negotiation, Arum proposed that him and Schaeffer take a lie detector test.....and also to put a wager on the results.

Perhaps Floyd could propose and arrange for Arum and him to take a lie detector test and prove once and for all on who's lying.....then again, Floyd so far has not denied this story.

How come no one post the rest of the artical.

"Choose your side, everyone! Did Mayweather turn down $65 million? Probably not. It sounds more like, if anything, he turned down a meeting with some people he had no interest in meeting with for whatever reason. Maybe he didn't think a "group from Singapore" that handles casino events there was really worth his time. I mean, that really sounds more like the real story here than, "Floyd Turned Down $65 Million, Proves He's Huge Fraidy Cat."

To be totally honest, this just sounds like propaganda meant to further the belief that Mayweather is afraid to fight Pacquiao, so that's why it's not happening. I think most of us who are reasonable and assume neither side is 100% truthful and square about everything, we realize that a lot of this stuff is mud-slinging to avoid the greater issue, and to place blame on one party or another. The issue is they're not fighting and apparently nobody can get them to do so, and two years or so into the great public demand for the fight, we're no closer to seeing the one single fight in boxing that everyone would care about."
