Last night wasn't amongst his best performances but he nonetheless was involved in yet another extremely watchable fight. I loved it.
Any blind haters who wont give him any credit ( probably due to his nationality )belatedly seen the light?

For me Froch is one scary mother ****er. I would most definatly not like to get him angry.

Yes, he's converted me. I used to think Calzaghe would just about beat him. Now I realise that JC would win every single round.

No worries mate, not being a dick.. just found it funny.

Froch converted me with his performance against Taylor, ever since that fight he's been a must watch for me, and thank god for that, he's been something special to follow these last few years.

    :good No worries.

Yeah, i followed him a bit before he made it to world level and always rated him but he keeps going up and up in my estimation. I expected him to win easier than he did last night but thats more to do with Johnsons perfomance than anything.

He's far from perfect and has a fair few flaws but the way he uses getting hurt to spur him on reminds me a bit of Nigel Benn. Not saying they are similar fighters but certainly has the same fighting heart.

    Very hard man indeed. Respect.

I hated him for the longest time after the Dirrell robbery and his cocky demeanor afterwords...wanted Abraham to spark him badly.

But yet again, Froch comes to fight, and yet again, I'm impressed.

    Color me converted.

Yeah me, but not last night I became a fan of him when he lost to kessler but was fighting very hard and it was one of the best fights of 2010 and then followed it up with that great performance over abraham, check his trackrecord how can people not like this guy.

That's your mistake for thinking Froch could ever beat Calzaghe.

As for Froch, I'm a huge fan and as Tarver said.. : "he has subtle skills"

he seems like a plodding wannabe slickster, but he is much more

the guy was amazing at the World Amateur Championships

I posted these vids as a comparison a few months ago:

Good journeyman vs prospect on his double digit fight.

Froch vs same journeyman on his 3rd pro fight..note the diff.

I expect the Calzaghe camp thinks the same or at least pretends to.

Whether you like Froch or not you MUST respect the man. He joined an extremely dangerous tournament he was expected to lose easily in, I remember many(myself included) picking the highly overrated Kessler to knock him sparks out and also remember many(including myself) laughing at the idea of him lasting to round 5 against Abraham yet look at him advance to the finals. If anything this tournament improved his fighting style and his desire to win and give it his all has shined right there, the man is here to win and craves legacy with all what he has. Can't disrespect him there, I used to dislike him but I can't help but cheer for him and appreciate how far he got.

Calzaghe is a disrespectful pile of crap and his record is a bigger pile of crap. Froch already fought better opponents than Calzaghe ever did in his paper title reign against cab drivers and bartenders. If anything you would expect Calzaghe to show class as Hatton does and cheer on his neighbor/country man. Based on Calzaghe's resume and path as a professional boxer it's safe to say he would have been the first to turn down such a tournament if it took place in his time like he turned down all the serious fights he should have taken.
