Its the reason why I said he'd lose to Dirrell. Its the reason why he lost to Kessler. Its the reason why he looked good against Abraham. Why he looked "good" against Glen Johnson.

When forced to fight off the front foot he looks oafish, slow and uncoordinated. As he did against Dirrell and the 2nd half of the Kessler fight.

When the other fighter comes to him where he can use his length to his advantage he looks decent.

Where is this notion that he is somehow a pressure fighter? His power is already overrated. He hasnt stopped or hurt a single opponent in the tournament. Glen Johnson who was buzzed by Tavoris Cloud multiple times barely took a step back vs Froch.

He's a guy who models himself after Roy Jones Jr. Even said he has an "american" style. Despite how slow he is he gets away with it because of his abnormal length.

I'm not sure whether that's the case or he's simply lying about watching these fights, like he has done twice before. He has a nasty habit of talking **** about fights he hasn't seen. Mainly because he makes a point and is unable to backtrack, such as the "floored" incident.

Carl Froch is only 6'1" and has only a 75" reach, so I have to wonder which part of Carl you find abnormally long...

A guy who is 6'1" should have about a 71 inch reach. So he is abnormally long for his height.

I've never heard of "fighting off the front foot". That terminology doesn't make sense. When you're fighting off the back foot, you're putting more weight on it, but when you fight in a come forward style you don't put more weight on your front foot.

    6 x 12 + 1 = 73

If you think a 2" disparity between wing span and height is abnormally long, you are abnormally stupid.

If the norm is 73 inches, and his reach is 75 inches, wouldn't that make his reach abnormal? And since his reach is longer than normal, wouldn't that then make it abnormally long?

If you cant look at Froch and see he has a abnormal lanky body, with a small mid-section with long extremities. I dont know what to tell you. But you do have a Pacquiao avatar. So whether to take you seriously. :huh

Before this thread gets derailed by *******s and Brits.

Can anyone show me proof to counter my assertion that Froch fights well coming forward?

Wingspan is typically your height (so he'd be 73 if average) and skews towards being a bit longer if anything.

Glen Johnson = 75 inches and is 5'11
Arthur Abraham = 72 inches and is 5'9
Mikkel Kessler = 74 inches and is 6'1
Andre Direll = 75 inches and is 6'2
    Jermaine Taylor = 74 1/2 and is 6'1
Jean Pascal = 72 inches and is 5'10

wow, looks like Froch only fights other "abnormally lanky" guys....

    Idiot
