I'd have Ketchel lower, switch Monzon & Hagler with Robinson & Greb, remove Flowers and Apostoli, and add Dick Tiger & Mickey Walker.
If anyone didn't know, this is my list. This was just a sorry attempt by quarry to troll me. I appreciate the opinions though.
you done the same with my heavyweight list in an attempt to discredit and hate on Marciano, Frazier & Tunney. yet this middleweight list IMO is laughable and an attempt by you to discredit Sugar Ray Robinson. .... Hagler at No2 go to the What is Haglers best win at middleweight link :good
1/. Robinson 2/. Greb 3/. Steele 4/. Monzon 5/. Fitzsimmons 6/. Cerdan 7/. Walker 8/. Ketchel 9/. Giardello 10/. Hagler
Show me one post, just ONE where I've shown any kind of hatred toward ANY fighter we've ever specifically discussed. AND where exactly have I tried to discredit Robinson? Lol, every word that comes out of your mouth is a lie or a double standard. Whatever though, have fun being the forum troll and I'll have my fun using you as a kickball.
i aint ever discussed anything with you your a Troll who follows my every move around this forum and who has replied to 99% of the posts i have made. get a life you sick little fool your envy and jealousy of me is getting the better of you. you been sitting on my dick for too long boy and i need new meat so hurry on upstairs your daddy is hard and waiting for you.
If we haven't discussed anything how can you accuse me of "hating"? I shudder to think what the rest of your post alludes to. But just to clear the air.....what ever you're into, thats fine. But it ain't my thing! How old did you say you were again? :-(
you hate on Jack Dempsey & Gene Tunney on a daily basis. you have just claimed Dempsey's best Heavyweight wins was all over Light-Heavyweights :huh... your a Troll who cannot debate boxing. your posts are directed at me personally not addressing boxing. you should try debating to prove me wrong instead of your childish name calling games
On the contrary, I admire both Dempsey and Tunney. Just because I don't view their careers through rose tinted glasses doesn't mean I hate them at all. As far as my debating skills go....Im here to learn, I don't think I know it all. But I can hang pretty good in almost any debate and have never been run out of multiple threads nor called a troll during my time here. You on the other hand cannot claim the same. :-(
but your problem seems to be that i dont view Lennox Lewis through rose tinted glasses like you do... i aint been run out of a single thread ever nor do i troll. i think its common knowledge now that the Troll is you.. you also cannot as you claim "Hang pretty good in almost any debate".. you have said on loads of occasions you know nothing about Fitzsimmons, Griffith, Pep or any cuban fighters from the 50s as well as Jewish fighters etc etc etc etc in fact you know very little about any fighters other than Boxrec your bible .. This forum is for debating classic boxing yet your constant playground name calling of me and immediate replies to my every post is turning it into a place like the forum you frequent on the other site where you have chased away virtually every single member due to your antics.
Langford KOd Flowers when he was nearly blind or blind , fought Ketchell on even terms but it was a short fight , and did better than Ketchell against Jack Johnson. Ketchell was also stopped by a MW (in Billy Papke) btw. I'd rather put both Langford (which I did) and Young Peter Jackson (which I currently didn't) who stopped Langford and at least went the distance with Jack Johnson as well. Hopkins and LaMotta top 10 ? quite bad too. Why not put Gene Fullmer (even) instead of LaMotta ? You forgot Monzon , McCallum (and Toney too) and probably put Robinson a bit too low. I think he should most definitely rank higher than Ketchell and Greb and currently probably higher than Hagler as well.
01.Sugar Ray Robinson 02.Marvelous Marvin Hagler 03.Harry Greb 04.Carlos Monzon 05.Bob Fitzsimmons 06.Charley Burley 07.Jake LaMotta 08.Bernard Hopkins 09.Freddie Steele 10.Mickey Walker
