Right now, I'd go for Ortiz by KO.

I can't see Khan (who weighs 149 on fight nights) standing up too well against Ortiz (who comes in at 160 plus!) and his power shots.

Its useless predicting so far ahead and that too when both fighters are in different weight classes. How the fight shapes up depends alot on what happens between now and then.

Khan doesn't have the tools to ko ortiz or even make him consider the idea of quitting but Khan will win on points on this fight. Even if Ortiz can Knocks down Khan he will still lose on points.

Gotta take Ortiz here (if he can remain as unrelenting as he was for the Berto fight)

I still think Ortiz is a much better fighter than Maidana despite the loss since personally I think he's technically way better but lost simply because that time, Ortiz just wasn't used to getting as much as he gave. His heart failed but he learned from that, I think he's a much better fighter from that experience (sort of the way the Prescott loss was for Khan)

Despite Khan showing his chin isn't as bad as initially thought, I still think Ortiz will eventually tag him the way Maidana did only earlier. Plus at the weight, I don't think Khan has the pop to keep Ortiz away for long. So yeah, while I'm a fan of Khan, I'd say Ortiz by TKO (I'd love to be proven wrong though).

Why are so many people saying Khans going to get knocked out by Ortiz? Has everyone forgot how he took some flush Maidana shots and stayed up? Plus he seems to be ad******g to the heavier weights better and WW will suit him better than LW.

It should be a v good fight but Khan will win a close fight on points. Freddie will work Ortiz out.....

probably because Ortiz has comparable power with Maidana and is technically better than maidana so it's easier to imagine that he can do what Maidana did with more success.

I'm not saying it's a sure thing but I'm sure that's what most people who say Ortiz by TKO/KO think.

Having said that, if Ortiz doesn't KO Khan, Khan by UD is probably the next most likely result for me.

khan hung out with Maidana..so im giving him a chance, Maidana who is a lot stronger punchwise, wobbled Khan and couldnt finish him. I'm with Khan here.

khan should stick to 140, at 147 and above all the top guys probably can ko him, I would like to see him stay at 140 at least one more year, he needs to be a lot better than he is now before he moves up.
