Johnson lost to age he was a step to slow one punch at a time is not gonna stop Froch good effort by Johnson but no way he won
Japanese judge was a turd. I have zero allegiance to either of these fighters, and Froch to me was the clear 115-112 winner. Johnson landed some meaningful shots, but didn't throw one combination the entire night - his workrate also plummeted in the 11th and 12th. Remember, you have to TAKE the belt away from the champ...
I'm actually shocked anyone has Johnson winning. I had it 116-113 and felt I gave Johnson the benefit of the doubt in a few. He just wasn't active enough. Froch swept the last 3 to take it.
Johnson didnt even complain about the decision. That tells you he knows Froch won. And Johnson does complain about alot of his fights man. Sometimes righfully so. I was rooting for both guys since i like them both and are similar in terms of fighting anyone anywhere.
How do people score this to Glen? I'm guessing that they are giving him the rounds where he lands the one or two big shots. Thus ignoring the fact that everytime Glen landed, Froch would return fire with 3 or 4 big shots. Froch won a clear decision. Not even slight controversy. The only controversy will be in 10 years when people look back at boxrec and see Froch only won an MD. No disrespect to Glen, who fought hard, an MD doesn't do Froch justice.
I'm a big Glen Johnson fan, and he didn't win the fight. Froch did. I think the 116-112 card was fair, could also have seen a 115-113 Froch, but IMO Glen didn't do enough to take a draw.
TRUE...particularly evident with that long winded and contradictory post-fight speech he gave to J.Grey! ...yeah, Ward = Audley Harrison:rofl :rofl:rofl
