I'm American and i'm rooting for Froch against Ward.

I just cant warm up to Ward's boring style. I also dont have patience to watch fighters who dont have the ability to hurt or KO their opponents. I'm not one of those patriotic fans who root for a fighter just because he's from my country. I'm fans of fighters based on their styles and heart. Ward just doesnt do it for me. Simply touching your opponent more and winning via decision isnt my cup of tea. I'm sure i'll get blasted by the boxing snobs who prefer the sweet science aspect of boxing hit and not be him, but if a fighter doesnt entertain me, its hard to root and be a fan of his.

Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters but i still can not sit around and watch Ward. He is boring as hell and uses too many illegal tactics. People who say so does Hopkins are wrong. Hopkins does not intentionally use his head time after time along with elbows.

I cant stand Ward and how awesome a deal he got from showtime. They are setting him up to win.

There is no sweet science when the plan is 1 punch clinch, headbutt, elbow and wait for ref to break it up. Repeat.
Wait for hometown judges to read favorable scores.

When this tournament started i did not like Froch because of his mouth but when a guy is willing to go in there with anyone anywhere and backs it up they can talk all they want.

 

I just hope the fights not in Joakland

Me too. Ward has gotten really overrated. Froch might just be the man to expose him.

 

Froch style is def more exciting then Wards . But then again i dont find Ward that boring like everyone esle does ,I actually felt Abraham/Ward was entertaining .

 

I was rooting for Ward during Kessler but for some reason after that I started rooting against him. Especially during the Green, it was so boring I was going Green would land a huge shot.

 

He doesn't have an entertaining style , but he is very good. and he will probably be around for a long time. I like Froch, but I think he gets made to look more ordinary than he did against Dirrell. I think Bute has the speed, movement, and power to make it a good fight, but thats the only guy I see at 168 that might be able to win.

 

ward is one of the hardest fighters to beat, him and froch will have a great fight.i think ward beats him, maybe even outclass him.
