This fight to be made at 122. Prime 4 Prime

Marco has some good wins at the weight and IMO was his best weight, Faster and more spiteful hands, fluids combinations. Wins over Morales (ok, the record says he lost but come on...), Kennedy McKinney, Eddie Croft, Agapito Sanchez, Eddie Cook, Daniel Jimenez and English duo Paul Lloyd and Richie Wenton.

Rafa is a career Bantamweight who moved up to Challenge number 1 122lb Fighter Israel Vasquez and forced the champ to retire on his stool with a nose injury after 7. He was stopped in the rematch and lost a very close and brutal fight in the rubber match. He now has his sights on Japanese hotshot Toshiaki Nishioka.

So who do you all feel takes this all Mexican clash:bbb:bbb:bbb

MAB is my favourite fighter of all time and it pains me to watch him keeping going and going...:yep

I could watch his fight with Morales from February 2000 all day everyday...:deal

 seems like Rafa's fighting the world at the moment. Fights with Gamboa and Nishioka now this.

Personally feel the fact he's been fighting at world class level around this weight class recently will benefit him more then MAB.

I'd say a points victory for Rafa in a very good fight even if MAB is way past his prime. Could see MAB just getting over line after a bad spell late on.

I take it this is a hypothetical? MAB won't make 8stone10 again!

Prime for prime, at 122, Barrera is at least a level above, and would win by comfortable decision or accumulation stoppage IMO.

 was about to say it seemed like absolute madness was just checking MAB's recent fighting weight.

Dream fight wise Prime for Prime i'd go for MAB. There both Mexican's so it be a war!

Rafa is one of my favourite fighters, but in a prime v prime scenario against MAB at SBW I would give him very little chance. MAB would probably stop him sometime after the midway point.

I'd have to pick Barrera, especially at 122. But Rafa is my favourite Mexican fighter nevertheless
