Two ATG's vs TWO potential HOF'ers.

Morales-Barrera was great but Castillo-Corrales was epic. Might be the greatest fight of the millennium.

Castillo vs Corrales didnt have a clinch and was more skillfully fought.

I agree. i don't think i have ever watched perhaps one of the greatest war in boxing and felt bitter as hell. That ending is like a movie with a twist or something.

Both fights were fantastic, MAB and EM do it at a somewhat higher level. More combos, wider variety of punches, more movement. JLC and Chico both basically just stood there and whaled away at each other.

Exactly... although I would say Chico and JLC are definite HOF'ers.

Yes but no one will remember that:thumbsup

Corrales v Castillo was the best fight I ever saw. talk about fightin' in a fonebooth. Better for me cause Chico is one of my all time favs.

It had everything a fight should have. It was fast paced and full of drama. I couldnt believe Chico got up from that 2nd KD, even though he bought a little time, savvy!

I dont rewatch fights too often but I recently ( within the past 2 or 3 yrs ) watched Barrera v Morales 1 again and it just wasnt as exciting as it was the 1st two times.

I admittedly havent watch DC v JLC recently but the last time I saw it I was on my feet again and that was like the 4th time I watched it. Great, Great fight that should rate in the top 2 all time, although I dont know what beats it. Im just given you Ol' timers the BOTD:tong

I think both Castillo and Corrales just fell apart after their first fight. Castillo is known to have a rock on his chin and never been down but have been stopped by cuts. He got put to sleep on his feet by Corrales and after that he just doesn't fight with that intensity anymore.

Barrera Morales was evenly matched with niether guy being stopped and setting up an epic trilogy

Coralles Castillo had the little guy beating up the big guy till he landed some lucky punches, the rematched proved who was the better boxer
