Guys who would leave decent opposition in a heap, consistently. Guys like: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kyi57mKkVs[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njrK6gPV_II[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfUFYtXNN0A[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZdLJAYzV9M[/ame]
People have evolved to have better chins since then. Amir Khan would have had an iron jaw if he was around 20 years ago.
What you fail to realise is those type of punchers are ATG punchers and unfortunately dont spring up very often. But when they do......
Cintron can ****ing bang, the problem is hes alienated himself by being such a ****ing *****. Wladimir Klitschko too can ****ing bang, the problem is hes such an overly cautious fairy he doesn't go in and wipe people out. He jabs away and people think he knocks fighters out via accumulation. We could do with a Felix Trinidad or Julian Jackson in boxing though.
True, but there is usually at least one out and out assassin active at any one time. I'm not seeing that guy right now
I see what you mean, Canelo is only 20 years old, providing he doesnt get rushed id imagine he will develop alot more and start rolling people over.
That one went nuts and killed himself along with his missus [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzbU1QuS9ho[/ame]
Tito, Jackson, and Hearns all sat down on their punches more than guys do today. I see a lot of guys trying to utilize speed over power, especially early in their careers. Martinez has turned into a pretty good KO artist since he's settled his feet down a little bit. He still moves his head around, but his soles are planted on the canvas a lot more often and the power is coming around.
