29th Febuary 2008 - Bute wins his "world title". 3 years and 3 months later, Bute still hasn't fought an elite 168lber. But it isn't his fault folks! Honest!
Lost in Translation Kessler only said seven words in danish about Bute: Lucian Bute (er pumpet op af Showtime) it would translate to Lucian Bute is backed/pumped up or hyped by SHOWTIME(nothing about hypejob!!!) Kessler said about Stieglitz: - I have not seen him meet a good boxer yet. He has never been pressured. - He has good deep body shots and is strong, but he can be defeated says Kessler about the German world champion Stieglitz.
Read my second post again. It is quite clear that the ignorant danish 'journalist' messed up. I mean do you believe Kessler would say that Stieglitz has not been pressured and dont you think that the mention of bodyshots is more fitting for Bute and that the term "He can be beat" is more fitting of the undefeated fighter than on the twice beaten Stieglitz?
Off course you are right about the body shots, truly a horrible article! But then again Andrade did put a lot of pressure on Bute. This article makes no sence at all..
Big words for a guy that has failed against elite opposition...He's annoyed that Showtime doesnt want the Bute - Kessler fight to be in Denmark. Haha! He knows he cannot win in US or Montreal. He needs the hometown advantage. Also Stieglitz never pressured? Really? Tell that to Andrade or Berio. He even had trouble with Andrade's brother Enrique. He got rocked hard in that fight.
Kessler schooled undefeated Andrade (Bute's best win) and he didn't need the ref to help him either.atsch
I dont know if I'd say that Bute was pressured against Andrade. At least not for the first 11 rounds. Stieglitz on the other hand, was stopped. The journalist ****ed up. A person who knows the fighters would make these comments.
