Pacquiao vs Mosely Official Numbers are in!

Mayweather drew more per fight because he was a established PPV star. Pacquiao was a rising PPV star . Now he is the top earner in the sport , that's a fact. Mayweather drawing more buys on a per fight basis is due to to fact that he was a established star before Pacquiao. As far as Maywaether - Mosley goes , that was a much anticipated fight, and seen as a competitive matchup. Mosley was arond a 7-1 underdog against Pac. Pac drawing 1.3 mill is really impressive when you consider all that.

I would wait until the Pac - Marquez 3 numbers come out to say anything definitive. I don't think it'll have any problem surpassing Floyd - Marquez PPV buys.

This whole PPV **** is just another excuse for Floyd to duck the fight.

If anything this shows the potential of showtime in conjunction with CBS as a rival to HBO PPV.

Even fighting once in 2010, Mayweather still made more than Pacquiao from boxing

What's more, the Pacquiao figures actually relate to 2 days sales (CBS sells PPVS for 48 hours) and Mayweathers relate to one nights sales.

Mayweather- Pacquiao, there's no argument whatsoever to even say it's close

Floyd sold 700K Hatton PPVS in England alone............That's close to Pacquiao's global total

 

To be fair Steve Forbes looked pretty awesome against a shot De la Hoya

Oscar was lighter in ring against Pacquiao than Castillo was against Mayweather!?

Pacquiao is listed as the 5th or 6th biggest earner in all sports in Forbes magazine. Floyd isn't even in the top 10.

There's plenty of reason t osay it's close. If Floyd is such a bigger earner, then he wouldn't have only done 100k more against a common opponent who was seen as a much more competitive fight at the time.

Like I said, wait for the Pac - Marquez III numbers. I'd put money down that they'lll beat Floyd - Marquez.
